UCL
The place where you'll study !

As you know you will have a class day per week during 2 months at the UCL. The University college of London is located at Euston square, but the campus is huge ! The language centre is located near the subway station, find the big wooden door. But your class could be everywhere in the campus, so don't lose your maps, you will need them.

A day of class

The morning: This is to my mind the best part of the day, you will work with an English teacher in small groups during 3Hours. The plan of the class depends of the level of your group, but you will practice mainly oral English, with debate, pronunciation exercises or role playing games. As I'm concern I enjoy speaking with the English teacher about differences between English and French culture.

Lunch: After the Morning class you have free time to eat. You can eat at the different cafeteria of the campus or at the fast food which are near the campus. You should try to eat at the UCL, there is some good and cheap food. And you may talk with English students.

The afternoon : Firstly we have a computer science class where we learn PHP and mySQL, those classes are quite interesting and easy to understand, you can also use internet and check your mail for free. And finally you have a lecture during one hour. The lecture was about Management and Information technologies.

Although lectures are in English, it's quite easy to understand and I think that nobody would have difficulties about it. Moreover lectures are really interesting, you will have an English opinion about management and information technologies which are not exactly the same as French view.

But the UCL is not only a place for your class, you can practice sport in UCL, you can go the UCL party to meet students. Ask at the reception desk in the language centre about it, you can ask your teacher too or better an English student.
